Preity Zinta
Yes, we see her after a long time gracing a event, and so seems like she never wanted to experiment much with fashion and went for a black outfit. Donning a classic black peplum gown by Gauri And Nainika, Preity looked pretty in those diamond danglers. Finally, a hint of minimal makeup and chic updo rounded off her look. Verdict- Going for a classic look on the green carpet and teaching us that classics should never be understated, Preity snags a fashion score of 3/5!
Alia Bhatt
Alia Bhatt took us into a fairy tale world by wearing a larger than life voluminous Zahair Murad strapless and shimmery gown with a plunging neckline. She ended her style deal with a centre parted sleek hairdo, sans accessories and a minimal makeup of bold eyes and nude lips. Wow! Verdict- Seems like this young girl is on a roll! Blending modern glamour with a punch of shimmer, Alia pulled off the look with supreme elegance. Basically, showing us all that a glittery dress can also be a hit, Alia deserves a fashion score of 4/5!
Neha Dhupia
OMG not again! Known for her dull fashion taste, Neha Dhupia opted for a monochrome ball gown for the awards night. She accessorised her look with a choker neckpiece and a red purse, but nonetheless her sartorial choice for the event was BAD! Verdict- Come on Neha, you can't just have a poor style sense all the time? Looking like a character from some gothic TV series, Neha looks like a disaster on the green carpet. A total FLOP! And so for her dangerous style outing for IIFA's awards night, we give Neha a poor fashion score of 2/5!
Dia Mirza
Styled by Theia Tekchandaney and wearing a dark floral printed gown by Rocky Star, Dia Mirza's getup for the event was okay-ish. Although, the main highlight of her look was her makeup and hair game, which was minimal and apt. Verdict- If you remember, Dia opted for a similar kind of a gown on IIFA Rocks green carpet, we don't see any variations in Dia's style. And so for her style stint at the awards night, we give her a fashion score of 2.5/5!
Sonakshi Sinha
Flashing her curved bod and toned legs, Sonakshi opted for a red Labourjoisie creation which featured a train along with a jaw-dropping plunge. Going for some glittery earrings from Chopard, Sonakshi sealed her look out with her long tresses styled sleek with a centre parting along with a minimal makeup of defined eyes and nude pink matte lips. Verdict- We all love to get inspired from the west, don't we? Pulling off a look from Beyonce's fashion page, Sonakshi looked quite good. Certainly not an easy look to carry off, Sonakshi and her stylist Mohit Rai justified the look to the hilt keeping the makeup and accessory game to a bare minimum. And so for her copy-inspired look, we give Sonakshi a fashion score of 3.5/5!
Taapsee Pannu
Smiling for the shutterbugs and wearing a black coloured sheer outfit with silver work all over it, Taapsee was dressed mediocre. But, the main highlight of her getup was her curly short hair, for which she can surely expect some brownie points from us. Verdict- We told you yesterday how Taapsee's red dress for IIFA Rocks was a total disaster, and so is this black one too. And so for her not a good style game, we give Taapsee a fashion score of 2.5/5!
Shilpa Shetty
Styled by Sanjana Batra, Shilpa Shetty opted for thigh-high slit outfit of a nude shade which also had a hint of shine. Those burgundy eyes, hair pulled back into sot waves, a pair of round shaped earrings and a little punch of minimal makeup rounded off her look. Verdict- Yes, we do feel Shilpa did a good job with regards to her style at IIFA's awards night but her dress was a bit of see-through. Hope, she does not have any fashion faux pas moments. Overall a decent fashion game. And so, we give Shilpa a deserving fashion score of 3/5!
Kalki Koechlin
Kalki has already shocked us all with her acting skills and now on IIFA awards night, Kalki looked impressive in pink. Wearing a ruffled creation from the very famous brand Gucci, Kalki is a sight to behold for the sore eyes. Her hair pulled back, that dark berry coloured pout and a golden clutch in hand, Kalki just made us go gaga with her stylish stint. Verdict- Experimenting with fashion is the key and Kalki did just that in her own fashionable way. For her superb pink outing at the event, we give Kalki a fashion score of 4/5!
Disha Patani
Going for a shimmery and sheer jewel toned body-hugging gown with a killer plunge and a front slit, Disha accessorised her look to minimal with just opting for a body jewel to highlight the neck and shoulders. Finally, she finished off the look with a messy updo, a minimal makeup and silver gladiators. Verdict- While Disha Patani's shimmery ivory coloured number is not that bad for an awards night, but her choice of footwear was a huge blunder. We are left wondering as to why her fashion stylist Tanya Ghavri has chosen a similar pair of gladiators for all of Disha’s looks. And so, we give Disha a fashion score of 2.5/5!
Varun Dhawan
Looking so freaking dapper in an Emporio Armani tuxedo with a white Gucci shirt that bore embroidered cuffs, Varun sported a Gucci bow tie and Yves Saint Laurent shoes. We loved it! Verdict- Opting for a clean-shaven look and well-groomed hair, Varun added modern elements to his outfit with that embroidered cuff Gucci shirt. And so for Varun's Dhawan amazing formal style, we give him a fashion score of 4.5/5!
Salman Khan
Wearing a navy blue shirt with a black blazer kinda suit, Salman's dress code as usual never had a hint of experimentation. But, what we love about Salman is that he does not try to stand out, his panache alone does the deed. Plus, his blazer with the interesting patterns add more spunk to the look. Verdict- We feel that Salman's look is very decent and not that outstanding, but is quite aesthetically pleasing. And so, we give Sallu a fashion score of 3/5!
Shahid Kapoor-Mira Rajput
Last on our list is the lovely couple Shahid-Mira. While Shahid opted for a greyish suit which had a big black patch (pattern) around his chest; Mira went for a tangerine coloured belted gown. The couple looked really good and complimented each other. Verdict- With his beard and hair game strong, we think Shahid did a great job with regards to his sartorial choice; while Mira could have done better. And so, we give this lovey-dovey couple a fashion score of 3.5/5!
