The boss girl is back! Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is rocking the Cannes press meet look

Ahem! Make way for our desi goddess Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, guys. It is so good to see the princess of Cannes hitting the land of glamour again with that effortless panache. We just can’t wait to see what Ash has in store this year on the red carpet. For now, we are calming our nerves and restless eyes with her crisp monochrome look for the press meet at the 70th edition of the International Film Festival in Cannes. Doesn’t the lady look even sexier and dream-like post motherhood? She’s already created an air of mystery with her totally on-point style game when she was clicked at the Mumbai airport leaving for Cannes with daughter Aaradhya. Mrs Bachchan was wearing a camel-coloured Burberry trench coat, which she teamed with a pair of J Brand jeans, simple white tee, and comfy pink belle flats. She accessorised the look with a maroon Christian Louboutin bag.

Later, the shutterbugs also captured her as she reached the Hotel Martinez in Cannes where she and Aaradhya have been put up. Here’s a sneak peek at how Cannes gave her a warm welcome.

We are damn excited about what the former Miss World is going to wear this time especially when she ended her last year’s look at Cannes with that controversial purple lipstick and the lilac-hued Rami Kadi gown.

Aishwarya is expected to walk the red carpet today and 20 May (Deepika Padukone preceded her on 17-18 May, Sonam Kapoor will take over on 21-22 May). She will present Devdas as a part of L’Oréal Paris Open Air Cinema this time in Cannes.

Looks like the ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ actress is in no mood for a fashion faux pas this year. Her first appearance for Cannes press meet today says it all. She has just stepped out for a press meet, looking all refreshing and beautiful. Seems like her daughter Aaradhya’s presence is the reason behind mommy’s glow. Donning the monochrome avatar, the lady wore a crisp white shirt tucked neatly into an emerald green skirt with a belt. Gosh, that short trail just makes her look ethereal. She kept the hair simple with soft waves and we have nothing to complain about.
