Ek Badnaam Aashram Season 3 Part 2 Review
Jap Naam! The aura of Baba Nirala is untouched but the series will give you its conclusion. Ek Badnaam Aashram Season 3 Part 2 continues the gripping narrative of Baba Nirala’s (Bobby Deol) dark and manipulative world, where power, control, and deception intersect.Â
This season delves deeper into the power struggles and corruption that define the characters, with more intense drama and shocking twists. What will happen in the story following the first two seasons makes it more interesting. Will Pammi find her revenge, will Bhopa betray baba for his own wishes and how other characters brings the twist in the plot is all you get this season.
What Doesn’t Work
Some of the narrative choices in Part 2 can feel predictable, especially if you’ve been following the series from the beginning. Also, at times, the show overstays its welcome with lengthy sequences that don’t add much to the plot despite the 5 episodes.
Technical Analysis
The cinematography is striking, with dark, moody visuals that enhance the gritty atmosphere of the show. The use of lighting and framing perfectly complements the tone of the series emphasises the sinister undertones.
The background score is another standout, amplifying the tension and drama in key scenes. The editing, though competent, sometimes falters by lingering too long on certain scenes, slowing the narrative’s pace.
Star Performances
Bobby Deol returns as Baba Nirala and his portrayal of the manipulative, charismatic, yet dangerous cult leader is nothing short of captivating. On the other hand, Aaditi Pohankar as Pammi, who is caught between the web of power and survival, brings both vulnerability and strength to the character.
Chandan Roy Sanyal as Bhopa Swami is the star of this season. His intense romance scenes with Aaditi are the highlights of the show. Anil Rastogi, Sachin Shroff, Anurita Jha, Rajeev Siddharta and Tridha Choudhury deserves recognition for their added in-depth roles.Â
Conclusion
Ek Badnaam Aashram Season 3 Part 2 continues to be a tense, engaging, and thought-provoking watch. If you’re invested in the saga of Baba Nirala and the world of the Aashram, this season will keep you at the edge of your seat. However, the show could have benefited from more innovation in the plot and tighter editing. Overall, Ek Badnaam Aashram ensures that it remains a strong entry in its genre.
