With expectations sky high, the Rebels, Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor starrer ‘Baaghi’ released on Friday. Ever since the trailer of this Sabbir Khan directorial was out, everyone was curious to check out those never seen before action sequences and the sparkling chemistry of Tiger and Shraddha on big screens, which is now setting the collection window of Box Office on fire.
The movie opened to some rave reviews from critics, which didn’t turn out to be a roadblock in the love showered in from the audiences. According to Box Office India, the film has turned out to be the first effective opening film in the period of last first four months in 2016. Considering the film had a fresh pairing of Tiger and Shraddha, who are at the initial stage of their careers, still ‘Baaghi’ has managed to collect Rs. 11.50-11.75 crore nett on it’s opening day itself.
The figures were better than last big release at the Box-office, which was Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Fan’, especially in circuits like CP Berar, Bihar, Assam or Orissa except Rajasthan. The bigger circuits like Mumbai, Delhi / UP and East Punjab may not have been excellent, but are still good.
With such a fascinating opening at the Box Office, it could be said that the actors, makers and distributors of this film will earn huge benefits from it as the days pass by.
‘Baaghi’ is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and narrates the plot of two rebels who can go to any extent to save their love.
Quiet, resonant, and creative, he can be seen immersed in his own world, and puts in his heart and soul into the one passion that he has, Bollywood. His line for survival? Feel happy to be a part of it.
