Akshay Kumar breaks his own record with ‘Housefull 3’

Akshay Kumar has many records in his name including that of having the highest opening in overseas market. His ‘Singh Is Kinng’ which released 8 years ago had made a record which remained intact for 8 long years until his recent release ‘Housefull 3’ made it to the theatres.

Akshay Kumar has broken his own record of ‘Singh Is Kinng’ with ‘Housefull 3’ and has raked in the highest number of footfalls on day 1 in the overseas market. ‘Singh Is Kinng’ had received $3.05 million on its opening day while ‘Housefull 3’ has crossed that mark in the overseas market. Even in India, ‘Housefull 3’ is running strong at the theatres. By Day 2, the film had crossed Rs 20 crore mark and the third day figures, that is on Sunday, it was being expected that the film would break many records.

Well, this is Akki’s charm. Plus, he had support of Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri and Lisa Haydon in this film. Multi-starrer films hold power to do wonders at the box office and ‘Housefull 3’ has proved it!
