Akshay Kumar’s ‘Rustom’ has a fair opening at Box Office

Neeraj Pandey’s directorial venture ‘Rustom’, starring Akshay Kumar, Ileana D’Cruz and Esha Gupta has had a fair opening at the box office. The film minted an amount of Rs. 14 Crore on its first day.

‘Rustom’ did better in multiplexes rather than single screens. After ‘Sultan’, ‘Fan’ and ‘Housefull 3’, it is the fourth best opening of the year so far.

Primary contributors to the film’s first-day collection are Mumbai, Delhi, UP and East Punjab. A solid growth at the box office on the weekends is being unexpected.
