Box office collection of ‘Rock On 2’ falls further on day 5

Farhan Akhtar, Shraddha Kapoor, Arjun Rampal and Purab Kohli’s film ‘Rock On 2’ made it to theatres on November 11, 2016 with huge expectations from the audience. But unfortunately, these expectations have fallen flat as the theatres are running empty. The box office collection of the film is disastrous.

As per the statistics, the film minted approximately Rs 90 lakh at the box office on its fifth day, i.e., Tuesday which is way lower than the expected. Apparently, Narendra Modi’s demonetisation move has taken the film to the dust. Plus, it did not even receive that positive reviews from the critics.

So far the film has grossed Rs 8.95 crore at the box office. ‘Rock On 2’ only has a few days to make money as much as possible as Vidya Balan’s ‘Kahaani 2’ will be making it to the theatres on November 18, 2016.
