Day 7: Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Rustom’ continues to woo the box office

Akshay Kumar‘s ‘Rustom’ is taking box office by storm. The number of footfalls witnessed everyday at the theatres for the film is just increasing by each passing day, all thanks to the positive word of mouth spread by Akki’s fans. It had already become one of highest weekend grosser of this year and now it’s racing to cross Rs 100 crore mark. On its seventh day, the film has managed to make around Rs 89 crore at the box office.

According to the statistics, ‘Rutom’ witnessed a jump in the collections on its day 7 and has minted approximately Rs 89 crore. Being a ‘Raksha Bandhan’ holiday, the film had an advantage when it came to collections. ‘Rustom’ that stars Akshay Kumar, Ileana D’Cruz and Esha Gupta is based on the infamous K.M. Nanavati case of 1959, and has been produced under Zee Studios banner. Critics loved the film while the audience is applauding it by gushing to the theatres.

With this, we are confident that ‘Rustom’ will cross the Rs 100 crore mark soon.
