Fifth day collections of ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ and ‘Shivaay’ are good, former takes the lead!

Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ saw a slight drop on Tuesday collections as the film earned Rs 12.50 crore, but the overall five day collection of the movie stands at Rs 64.54 crore which is good considering the movie was pitted against another biggie ‘Shivaay’. The Diwali holidays helped the film to a great extent.

As far as Ajay Devgn’s ‘Shivaay’ is concerned, the movie also saw a decrease in numbers on Tuesday with the film managing to collect Rs 11 crore nett taking the overall five day numbers to Rs 50.95 crore. The movie may be lagging behind, but it did manage to do well in the weekdays.

With no big budget movies releasing this Friday, the two movies get one more weekend to sustain their strong hold over the box office.
