‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’ does poor business over the first weekend

‘Happy Bhag Jayegi‘ has done poor business on its first weekend. On Sunday, the movie collected Rs 4.75 crore which was better than Saturday, but not that great. So the total business of three days stands at Rs 10.50 crore.

We expected better numbers for this run-com on the weekend. However, the weekend business is better than films like ‘Mardaani’ and ‘1920 London’.

‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’ has fetched average collections from Delhi/NCR and East Punjab regions. Monday business is crucial for the movie and if they manage to earn around Rs 2 crore nett, then we can expect some growth this week.

‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’ is directed by Mudassar Aziz and produced by Aanand L Rai and Krishika Lulla. The film stars Diana Penty, Abhay Deol, Ali Fazal, Jimmy Sheirgill and Pakistani debutante Momal Sheikh.
