‘Kaabil’ box office collection day 15: The pace slows down wee bit

Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam-starrer ‘Kaabil’ managed to impress not only the critics but also the masses. Directed by Sanjay Gupta, ‘Kaabil’ has had only kind words coming its way and the effect of this could be clearly seen on the box office numbers. Despite having less number of screens as compared to its competitor ‘Raees’, ‘Kaabil’ still managed to rake in a good moolah at the box office. But now, with the days passing by, the film has slowed down its run at the box office.

As per the numbers shared by the production house, ‘Kaabil’ raked in Rs 2.79 crore at the box office on day 15. With this, the total collection of ‘Kaabil’ in the Indian market stands at Rs 126.85 crore. It had competition from Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Raees’ and yet it managed to cross Rs 100 crore mark easily. The positive word of mouth has also helped the film tremendously, thus contributing to its success.

Hrithik and Yami showed off their acting prowess in ‘Kaabil’ by essaying the visually impaired characters. Audience loved their act and so did the critics.

Post this, now we await Akshay Kumar’s film ‘Jolly LL.B 2’ at the box office. It will make it to the theatres on February 10, 2017 and also stars Huma Qureshi and is directed by Subhash Kapoor.
