Priyanka Chopra’s ‘Jai Gangaajal’ has a slow run on the opening day

Priyanka Chopra might be ruling down west but, unfortunately, back in her hometown, she is progressing slowly. Her recently released film ‘Jai Gangaajal’ has had a poor start.

‘Jai Gangaajal,’ which features Priyanka Chopra in the lead role along with the director Prakash Jha, made it to the theatres on February 4, 2016 and it managed to do an average business on the opening day. The film collected approximately 5.5 crores according to the famous trade analyst Taran Adarsh. He posted,

The collection is way less than expected. Priyanka’s last film ‘Bajirao Mastani’ managed to do a spectacular business at the box-office despite having a tough competition from Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Dilwale’. The trailer of ‘Jai Gangaajal’ too seemed enthralling as PC’s character of a ‘no-nonsense’ cop was captivating but, unfortunately, the film failed to entertain the audience.

We just hope that her film picks up the pace over the weekend. Let’s wait and watch!
