‘Raees’ box office collection day 5: Shah Rukh Khan-starrer inches towards 100-crore mark

Shah Rukh Khan-starrer ‘Raees’ is breaking all records and slowly inching towards its first milestone. The film had superb collections over the extended weekend, and now it is very close to the coveted 100-crore mark.

‘Raees’ collected Rs 17.25 crore on Sunday, which was its fifth day, taking the total collection over its first weekend to Rs 92.25 crore, which is superb.

The movie got the benefit of the extended weekend, which was due to the fact that January 26 was a public holiday in the form of Republic day, and the weekend started the next day.

The word of mouth for this Shah Rukh Khan-starrer is also great. Not only the critics, but the audience too is going gaga over it. People are touting this to be the best performance of SRK till date.

‘Raees’ stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the role of the police officer who wants to nab Shah Rukh Khan aka Raees Alam, and Pakistani actress Mahira Khan in the role of Raees’ love interest.

Now let’s see if today’s collection take ‘Raees’ across the 100-crore mark or not.
