So far, Salman Khan-starrer ‘Sultan’ was being considered to be the highest grosser of Bollywood this year. But, Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anushka Sharma’s recently released film ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ has left behind the Salman-starrer at the box office in the overseas market.
‘Sultan’ had collected $500,000 overseas on day one, and ‘ADHM’ has collected $700,000 approx. The former had released on a Wednesday, but even the first Friday collection of the film was less than ‘ADHM’s first day collection. On its first Friday, ‘Sultan’ had collected $660,000 which is still less than what the Karan Johar’s directorial has collected.
