Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor starrer ‘Befikre’ drops further at box office on Tuesday

Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor starrer ‘Befikre’ registered poor numbers on Tuesday at the box office. The movie collected Rs 3.75 crore on Tuesday and the total 5-day collection is Rs 43.25 crore which is not that great. The Tuesday numbers are even lower than the Monday numbers of Rs 5.25 crore as Monday was a holiday at some places, due to Eid-E-Milad.

‘Befikre’ being a solo release could have done much better in terms of box office numbers, but the weekday numbers have not been as expected. The movie earned well in Rajasthan as they had a holiday on Tuesday. The overall week one business of the movie should be around Rs 49 crore which will not be that great either. ‘Befikre’ has one more week before Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’ releases on December 23. However, the erotic thriller ‘Wajah Tum Ho’ releases on the coming Friday and it could gain from single screens majorly.

‘Befikre’ is written, directed and produced by Aditya Chopra and features Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor in lead roles. The movie was passed by the CBFC with a U/A certificate and no cuts.
