‘Rock On 2’ shows dismal collection at the box office on day 4

Farhan Akhtar and Shraddha Kapoor-starrer, ‘Rock On 2’ has failed to make a mark at the box office. The first weekend collection of the film was disappointing, and there were no expectations from the film to hold well on weekdays as well.

On Monday, the film collected approximately Rs 1.15 crore, taking the four day total to Rs 8.05 crore approx. The collection is very poor. Farhan’s last film ‘Wazir’ had collected approximately Rs 21 crore in its first weekend, and Shraddha’s last film ‘Baaghi’ had collected approximately Rs 38 crore in three days.

Since ‘Aashiqui 2’, all the films starring Shraddha Kapoor had proved to be a hit at the box office. However, ‘Rock On 2’ breaks the chain of hits for the actress.

We wonder what has gone wrong with the film. Is it the less buzz about the film or the mixed reviews?
