Saturday Collection: ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’ shows a slight growth, ‘Rustom’ maintains well

Mudassar Aziz’s ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’ which released this Friday took a slow start and collected only Rs. 2.25 crore on day one. It was expected that the film will show a good growth as the reviews and the word of mouth was good, but unfortunately there was not a big jump on the second day. The movie just collected Rs. 3.50 crore approx. taking the two day total collections to Rs. 5.75 crore. The film really needs to show a good jump today to collect a decent amount in its first weekend.

On the other hand, Akshay Kumar ‘Rustom’ produced under Zee Studios banner is maintaining well at the box office in its second week. The film collected Rs. 5.75 crore on its second Saturday. The total collection of the movie is Rs. 99 crore. The movie will enter 100 crore club today.
