Sonakshi Sinha-starrer ‘Noor’ had everything in its favour, interesting promos, nice songs and good promotions. However, the film has failed at the box office miserably. The first weekend collection is very low.
On Friday the film collected Rs 1.25 crore. It was expected that it might show a growth on Saturday as most of the reviews were positive and even the word of mouth was good. However, there was a very minimal growth on second day and the film collected only Rs 1.60 crore. After seeing the second-day collection we had no expectations from the film’s collection on the third day. On Sunday, the movie collected Rs 1.75 crore, taking the three-day total to Rs 4.60 crore. Well, the amount that the film has collected on three days should have been the first day collection.
We wonder that after such a disappointing collection over the weekend, if ‘Noor’ will be able to sustain at the box office on weekdays. (Also Read: Sonakshi Sinha-starrer ‘Noor’ shows no growth on its second day)
On the other hand, Raveena Tandon-starrer ‘Maatr’ has even failed to collect a crore at the box office. In three days, the movie has collected Rs 85 lakhs which is dismal. However, this was expected as there was hardly any buzz about the movie.
