Randeep Hooda Confirmed for ‘Sarabjit Singh’ Biopic

Bollywood beauty Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is all set to depict the role of Dalbir Kaur in Omung Kumar’s upcoming biopic on Sarabjit Singh. Indian citizen Sarabjit Singh had unknowingly crossed the India- Pakistan border in an intoxicated state and got mistaken for a spy. As a result, he had to spend 23 years in prison and passed away in captivity. His sister Dalbir Kaur had been fighting to get her brother freed.

There were reports of Irrfan Khan and Randeep Hooda being considered for the role of Sarabjit Singh in ‘Mary Kom’ director Omung Kumar’s biopic. Now it has been confirmed that Randeep Hooda will be depicting the role of Sarabjit Singh.

It would be rather interesting to see Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and ‘Highway’ actor Randeep Hooda playing on-screen siblings. Aishwarya at present is busy with her comeback project ‘Jazbaa’.
