Bollywood most loved film that even till this date is the hot favorite of couples is Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol starrer ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’. The movie that released in 1995 made the two stars iconic. It is considered as one of the classic tales of romance in the history of Bollywood. Now 20 years later, DDLJ will be screened in Japan at the National Museum of Ethnology in Osaka.
Sources revealed that, “Yash Raj Films’ DDLJ will be screened at the South Asian Gallery of the National Museum of Ethnology in Osaka, Japan marking yet another milestone in its 20th year of uninterrupted run.”
Yash Raj Films posted on its official website. “The National Museum of Ethnology will screen DDLJ at the Indian Films Special Screening event with new Japanese subtitles as part of celebrating the renewal of its South Asian gallery as well as the 20th year anniversary of the iconic film.”
DDLJ will be the only Hindi film to be screened at the festival. Last year a huge celebration was held at Mumbai’s iconic theater Maratha Mandir to commemorate the 1000 week completion of DDLJ there. This year another feather will be added to SRK and Kajo, starrer DDLJ when it will be screened at the South Asian Gallery of the National Museum of Ethnology in Osaka, Japan.
