1 lakh people want ‘intercourse’. Mr Pahlaj Nihalani, think before you challenge media

We all are loving the mini-trails of Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma-starrer ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’. But, CBFC chief, Pahlaj Nihalani, was not too happy with one of the mini trails because it had the word ‘intercourse’. So, in an interview with Mirror Now, he had challenged the TV news channel to get one lakh votes in the favour of the word ‘intercourse’. And if the public agrees with it, he will retain the word in the trailer and the film.

Well, Mirror Now took the challenge and has won. They have got more than one lakh votes in the favour of the film. However, this has left Mr Nihalani speechless. So, after getting the votes, Mirror Now tried to speak to CBFC chief about it and asked him what he will do now. As expected Nihalani had no answer and was ignoring the reporter. It’s about time CBFC takes into consideration what a mature audience wants to watch. And Mr Pahlaj Nihalani, please do think twice before challenging media again.
