18th century style ships created for Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif in ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’

Yash Raj Films ‘Thugs Of Hindostan‘ seems to be quite a promising project. It not just has big names like Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachcha and Katrina Kaif associated with it, but the look and feel of the film too, looks quite interesting. We witnessed the teaser poster of the film recently and what a powerful poster it was! Following this, we have now learnt that magnificent ships have been created by the makers for this film. Around two elaborated, eighteenth century style ships have been constructed and docked by the Maltese seaside.

The director of the film Vijay Krishna Acharya revealed some bits about these ships. He stated, “The set of the film is in a high security water zone, with restricted access. Both these ships have been built in the early eighteenth century style, when vessels would carry cannons and other weapons. An international crew has been hard at work creating these elaborate ships in Malta. Most of the portions filmed on board these ships involve high octane action.”
