63rd National Film Awards : ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’ and ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ bag main awards

The winners of the 63rd National Film were announced today morning. Sharat Katariya’s ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’ starring Ayushmann Khurrana & Bhoomi Pednekar has bagged the award for the Best Hindi Film. Apart from that, Salman Khan’s ‘Bajrangi Bhaijan’ has been awarded the best wholesome entertainer while ‘Baahubali : The Beginning’ has won the award of the Best Feature Film.

The award for Best Screenplay went to Juhi Chaturvedi for ‘Piku’ and Himanshu Sharma for ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’. ‘Masaan’ was awarded the Best Debut film of a Director (Neeraj Ghaywan). Kalki Koechlin, for ‘Margarita With a Straw’ earned the Jury’s Award. Sudeep Chatterjee, for ‘Bajirao Mastani’ has won the best cinematography.
