Anupam Kher’s son Sikandar Kher gets engaged to Sonam Kapoor’s cousin

Anupam Kher and Kirron Kher’s dashing son actor Sikander Kher got engaged to Priya Singh. She is the cousin of Bollywood beauty Sonam Kapoor from her mother’s side. Priya’s father Jasjit Singh is a noted business tycoon while her mother Kavita is an interior designer.

The ceremony was a low key affair with close friends and family in attendance. Among the invites were Abhishek Bachchan who arrived with his mother Jaya Bachchan, also present on the occasion  was Abhishek’s cousin Naina Bachchan. Anil Kapoor with wife Sunita, Pamela Chopra. Anand Mahindra, Chairman and Managing Director of Mahindra Group, with wife Anuradha. Anupam’s brother Raju Kher were some of the special invites.

Anupam Kher who had been recently bestowed the Padma Bhushan shared a photograph of the couple from the engagement ceremony.

A special mention must also be made of Sikander’s style statement. His moustached look gelled perfectly with his well-built physique. As such, he came across as the very personification of machismo.
