Aamir Khan keen to play Kishore Kumar’s role in his biopic

Aamir Khan‘s second name is perfection when it comes to portraying a character. And if it turns out to be a biopic, then it’s a watch out for sure. The actor who took a gap of almost 4 years to play the part of Indian soldier Mangal Pandey is probably planning to transform into the mould of Legendary singer Kishore Kumar.

It’s been three years after ‘Barfi’ director Anurag Basu announced that he intended to make a film on the singer but it seemed difficult with rumors coming about the issue of copyrights and the family of Kishore Kumar not agreeing to the script which was in the writing stage.

Recently, Aamir Khan met Ranbir Kapoor who was approached to play the role of the singer about the development on the project. Sources say that Ranbir who has been confirmed to play actor Sanjay Dutt in the biopic made on him didn’t intend to play another biopic as of now. Aamir who had a keen interest to play Kishore Da asked Ranbir that could he approach the studio to move ahead with this project to which Ranbir agreed readily.

Currently, Aamir Khan is shooting for his next film ‘Dangal’ which is a biopic on Mahavir Phogat. Phogat is a coach who trained his daughters in the sport of wrestling. After completing ‘Dangal,’ the actor might go ahead with this biopic project of Kishore Kumar.

Kishore Kumar was one of the most talented and melodious singer, Indian musical industry got. Apart from his range of beautiful songs, he was known for his mischievous behavior which resulted in many funny and memorable incidents. With the genre of Biopics trending these days in Bollywood, hope this film is materialised soon on this talented personality.
