Aamir Khan sings a marathi song

Aamir Khan recently visited the sets of a popular Marathi comedy show ‘Chala Hawa Yeu Dya’, which he was a part of for a single episode. Here the actor revealed his passion for Maharashtrian food, songs, and movies in particular. Not just this, he also sang the popular Marathi song ‘Apsara Ali’ on the sets.

When the anchor of the show, Nilesh Sable asked the superstar if he has watched any Marathi films, the actor said yes, and mentioned that he has watched ‘Natrang’. He even went ahead to sing ‘Apsara Aali’ and left the audience surprised. He further revealed how he also loved watching the films, ‘Fandry’ and ‘Sairat’. The actor also expressed his interest to act and produce a Marathi film. “Marathi industry is churning out brilliant films and I would also like to produce or do one. I am learning Marathi and by the time I do one, I will be fluent,” said Aamir.

Meanwhile, Aamir, who celebrated his 52nd birthday on March 14, received a special gift from his mother, some hand-made seekh kababs. Says an insider, “An overjoyed Aamir gorged himself on the dish with total disregard for his diet for a day.”

On the work front, Aamir was last seen in the hugely successful ‘Dangal’ and is currently shooting for his next, ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ which also stars Amitabh Bachchan.
