Aamir Khan to go solo on ‘Koffee With Karan 5’

The last season of Karan Johar’s talk show, ‘Koffee With Karan‘, saw Aamir Khan made his first appearance, along with his wife, Kiran Rao. The two made up for a rocking show and naturally, we were all waiting to see Aamir Khan in the fifth season as well.

So here is a good news. The actor was present at an event recently when he expressed his desire to re-visit the show. He said, “I would definitely want to go on the show, but he is not calling me. Please ask Karan to invite me.” And Karan did.

According to reports, Aamir will soon be shooting for a episode of of the show, probably this weekend. “Unlike last season, this time Aamir will appear solo on the show (he will be joined for a short segment by his ‘Dangal’ daughters Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh). It will be aired next Sunday after the episode with Salman Khan and his brothers Sohail and Arbaaz. It makes sense since it’s around the time when Aamir’s film ‘Dangal’ is releasing.”

The source added, “Several other episodes that have been shot — the ones featuring Sania Mirza-Farah Khan, Shahid-Mira, Kareena-Sonam and Kapil Sharma — are still to be scheduled.”

We are sure Aamir will put up an entertaining show even after going solo.
