Aamir Khan turns down the offer to play Ranbir Kapoor’s father in Sanjay Dutt’s biopic

There were reports that Aamir Khan was approached to play Sunil Dutt’s role in Sanjay Dutt’s biopic which stars Ranbir Kapoor as Sanju Baba. However, reportedly, Mr. Perfectionist has turned down the offer.

A source stated, “Aamir had liked Sr Dutt’s character sketch in the film and had shown interest in playing the role, but changed his mind later.” So, the makers are now looking for some other actor to play the role.

When it comes to the casting of the film, only Ranbir Kapoor has been finalized. There were reports of Kareena Kapoor Khan playing Priya Dutt’s role in the film, but nothing has been announced about it. It is also said that Sonam Kapoor will also star in the film.

The movie was slated to go on floors in October this year, but it has been postponed to  early next year.
