Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’ was indeed creating a roar; but misfortune had to follow! The film has been leaked online. The mastermind behind the leak did the extra efforts to spread the video link on Facebook. Across the country and even outside, people went frenzy and downloaded the full film. The post received almost 45,000 shares and over 8 lakh views before it was pulled down by Facebook.
Piracy has reached an advanced stage where torrentz ain’t the only tool available. Apparently, a man from Pakistan who claims himself to be a YouTube uploader, shared the video on the platform.
Of late, Bollywood has been a victim of piracy more than once. From Abhishek Chaubey’s ‘Udta Punjab’ to Indra Kumar’s ‘Great Grand Masti’, censor copies (copies which are sent to CBFC for scrutiny and certification) were leaked. However, this time, somebody recorded the film at a theatre while it was showing.
Too many loopholes; any doubt?
