Abhinay Deo: My next project with Irrfan Khan will be his best film in comedy genre

Filmmaker Abhinay Deo is a much popular name in Bollywood with his directorial black comedy ‘Delhi Belly’. The director who has recently wrapped up the shoot of season 2 of television series ’24’ with Anil Kapoor is now all excited to start his next film which stars Irrfan Khan in the lead role. Abhinay feels this upcoming comedy film will be the career’s best for Irrfan and he hopes that the audience will like the actor’s funny side.

Talking about it to an agency, Abhinay said, “Irrfan hasn’t done a film like this before and I am hopeful people will enjoy him in this space (comedy). From a comedy point of view this is going to be Irrfan’s best film in the space. It’s an urban film. The script has turned out to be really good.” [sic]

There are rumours heard that ‘Wazir’ actress Aditi Rao Hydari will be seen sharing screen space with Irrfan. But Abhinay has refused to give out names being the makers are in talks with an actress and he (Abhinay) is not in a position to let it out.

“The film is at advanced stage. We will go on floors early next year,” added the director. [sic]

Apart from this, Abhinay Deo is ready with his next release ‘Force 2’ as well. Starring John Abraham, Sonakshi Sinha and Tahir Raj Bhasin in lead roles, it is an action thriller slated for a release on November 18, 2016.
