Abhishek Bachchan manages to return to Mumbai by bus from flood-struck Chennai

Actor Abhishek Bachchan ,who visited Chennai for some work, was trapped amidst heavy rain in the city which caused me to lose contacts with his family temporarily.

Junior Bachchan was scheduled to start shooting for ‘Housefull 3’ after coming back to Mumbai. However, all modes of transportation including the airport were shut in the waterlogged city and his return was delayed.

“Abhishek knows how to take care of himself. He was comfortably sleeping in his hotel waiting to find a way back. He left Chennai by bus and was back in Mumbai on Friday.”-said a source.

Chennai is indeed troubled with the rain, along with transportation, supply of food, water and electricity being interrupted. We pray for everyone’s safety in the city and hope things come back to being normal soon.
