After days of illness, veteran actor Vinod Khanna has taken his last breath at the age of 70. The actor was reportedly suffering from cancer and underwent treatment for a long period of time.
Just a few days back, a picture of the actor from the hospital wherein he looked shockingly drained, broke the internet. It was being said that he was suffering from gallbladder cancer. However, his family denied to comment on his illness and said he was suffering from immense dehydration. (Also Read: Salman Khan visits Vinod Khanna at the hospital)
The actor was admitted to Reliance Foundation when we last heard about his health. Khanna’s sons Akshaye Khanna and Rahul Khanna as well said he was overcoming his ailment.
In a career spanning over a few decades, the actor has been a part of over 100 films and has shared screen-space with almost all veterans. Among his most notable works, some are ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’, ‘Qurbani’, ‘Dayavaan’ and ‘Mere Apne’. The actor is survived by wife Kavita Khanna, three sons and one daughter. His contemporary artistes from Indian film fraternity have been mourning the actor’s demise.
