The recent topic of discussion is Kulbhushan Yadav’s death sentence announced by the Pakistani authorities. He is an Indian trapped in Pakistan jail for quite a long time. People do not want him to be the next Sarabjit Singh and are raising their voice in his support. Many celebrities, including Raveena Tandon, too expressed their concern over this on Twitter. But Twitter being a platform where criticism prevails more than positive awakening, Raveena had some snarky comments coming her way.
So in support of Yadav, Raveena had tweeted, “Are we just going to sit and watch jadhav die?? @narendramodi @SushmaSwaraj @rajnathsingh” [sic]
A genuine concerned raised by Raveena. But someone called it a publicity gimmick, just because her film ‘Maatr’ is releasing soon.
Of course, it did not go down well with Raveena and she gave it back to him.
Following this, she also posted, “Can’t suffer fools … thank u twitter for the blocking option . Criticism , healthy debate welcome . Idiots not.” [sic]
We so agree with Raveena. (Also Read: WATCH: Raveena Tandon shares her thoughts over violence on women in India)
