Mustafa Burmawalla’s launch pad in Bollywood was nothing less than a dream debut for any newcomer in films. He had made a grand entry with film ‘Machine’ which was helmed by none other than popular director duo Abbas-Mustan. Despite all the publicity and buzz around this film, sadly, it tanked at the box office.
But, moving on from his dose of failure, actor Mustafa has already started working on his next venture. However, there’s a slight twist here. This time he is trying his luck behind the camera. Let us explain. Instead of acting, Mustafa is working on a script written by him for his next venture. (Also Check: Akshay Kumar shakes a leg with Kiara Advani and Mustafa at ‘Tu Cheez Badi Hai’ song launch)
Not many would be aware that Mustafa has done a filmmaking course from the prestigious New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA). He is heavily inspired by world cinema and has even directed a few short films. As per the reports, this script written by him is a suspense thriller one, which will be directed by his father Abbas Burmawalla and uncle Mustan Burmawalla.
It is said that it has taken around eight months for Mustafa to finish the final draft. He has said that he had performed all the scenes before his father Abbas Burmawalla and uncle Mustan Burmawalla, both of whom simply loved the script.
Well, we hope that this new step of Mustafa surely does some much-needed wonders for his career.
