Actress Lisa Ray fought a tough battle with cancer and came out stronger. The actress who has been busy with her movie projects recently met with another health scare.

Some days back, she was rushed to the Breach Candy hospital. Her husband Jason Dehni rushed to be by her side. The actress was shooting in Mumbai, when all of a sudden, she complained of severe stomach ache. The pain got unbearable and she was immediately admitted to the hospital. As soon as the doctors discovered it, they wheeled her in for an emergency operation. She had to undergo a surgery and now she has been recuperating. The actress was diagnosed with cancer in the year 2009. She was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a cancer of white blood cells which is very dangerous, but thankfully she survived the fatal disease.
