Shahid Kapoor has forgotten his ‘Shaandaar’ days by shifting his focus completely on his upcoming film ‘Rangoon.’ The actor will be seen in the role of an INA officer being the base of it in the period during Second World War in 1940’s. For getting the perfect authentic look director Vishal Bharadwaj has got some Chinese actors on board as well. Shahid who had to perform some crucial scenes with these foreign actors took up the task of learning Japanese for this movie. After getting a hold on this language with proper diction, it seems the actor is loving it after leaving the sets of this movie.
According to sources, the actor has started conversing with the Japanese crew in this language without making mistakes in his diction. Moreover, the actor has moved his fascination and love towards the different types of Japanese cuisines as well.
Certainly, the hard work taken behind this has paid off for this ‘Haider’ actor. We hope that this effort is seen when he speaks it on the big screen.
‘Rangoon’ stars Shahid Kapoor with Saif Ali Khan and Kangana Ranaut for the first time. This Vishal Bharadwaj directorial is slated for a release on September 30, 2016.
