After Richa Chadha, now Anil Kapoor applauds the women’s cricket team of India

People of India are probably still busy mourning the defeat of Indian cricket team against Pakistan at the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 final. Meanwhile, ICC Women’s World Cup is on and the women’s team is going great guns. In their last match, they defeated Pakistan by 95 runs.

Sadly enough, we aren’t even half bothered. A couple of days back, actress Richa Chadha took to Twitter to urge everyone to lend their support to the women’s team. In an age where we are constantly advocating in favour of equal rights and treatments for women, it is indeed disappointing how in so many spheres of life, so much glory is kept exclusively for men!
