Every Bollywood star has a huge amount of fan following. These fans, who love their stars to death, do their best to even catch a single glimpse of the actor. The sets of Omung Kumar’s next directorial biopic project ‘Sarbjit’ starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan saw a similar situation.
The team of ‘Sarbjit’ was shooting in Punjab with Aishwarya and actress Richa Chadha, who plays a pivotal part in the movie as well. Getting to know about the presence of these stars around, it didn’t take long for the crowd to gather around to see them. As the team continued to shoot, the situation was slowly going out of control, resulting in the shoot to be halted.
But in this time of panic, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan showed a supportive side of her by rescuing co-actress Richa Chadha from this situation. According to sources, the vanity van of Richa was parked far away from the sets creating a problem for the actress to reach there. Since Ash’s van was much closer, she offered Richa to come along with her to avoid the crowd.
Talking about this experience, Richa Chadha revealed to a daily, “I don’t have much experience with mobs. On two occasions, my van was parked a little ahead of the sets. At that time, Aishwarya made me sit in her car, while the crowd was being taken care of. She is nurturing, supportive and kind. She is grounded, in spite of her stature and experience. She has come to my rescue every time things have got out of hand.”
‘Sarbjit’ is a biopic based on the life of an Indian farmer Sarabjit Singh with actor Randeep Hooda playing this titular role. The team has recently wrapped up shooting and is all set for a release on May 20, 2016.
