Aishwarya Rai Bachchan all set to present ‘Devdas’ at Cannes once again

In 2002, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was at Cannes Film Festival to present her film ‘Devdas’. And now, after 15 years, the actress will be once again presenting the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial at the film festival. Aishwarya attends the festival every year as the brand ambassador of L’Oreal Paris brand and she will be presenting ‘Devdas’ on May 20 as a part of L’Oréal Paris Open Air Cinema.

Talking about the reception the film had received in 2002, Ash said, “They made the reception so wonderful by actually creating this little ride up in a horse carriage…The three (Aishwarya, Shah Rukh and Bhansali) of us went up and we truly felt like we were representing us. It just felt glorious from the first step on the red carpet.”

Cannes Film Festival is known for celebs and their outfits. Aishwarya has always impressed us with her red carpet outings, and we are sure this year too won’t be an exception. However, there are some appearances of the actress that have faced a lot of criticism like how can we forget her purple lipstick she had sported at the red carpet last year.

The actress will be walking the red carpet on May 19 and 20. Let’s see if she opts for her Paro avatar for May 20 as she will be presenting ‘Devdas’.
