Revealed – Aishwarya Rai to groove on Bhangra Beats in ‘Sarbjit’

Bollywood beauty Aishwarya Rai Bachchan after flooring her fans with her recent release ‘Jazbaa’, is at present busy with her upcoming biopic Sarbjit. The actress who had grooved to a foot tapping number in ‘Action Replay’ will be dancing to an energetic bhangra number in the Omung Kumar directorial.

The Punjabi number ‘Tuglak Tuglak Tun’ is an energetic bhangra song, similar to the ‘Nagada Nagada’ from ‘Jab We Met’. It will also have Randeep Hooda and Richa Chaddha dancing along with the Bachchan bahu. The peppy number is being choreograped by Vishnu Deva.

Speaking about the Punjabi bhangra number Omung Kumar said, “ Sarbjit is a biopic but made in a different way. Sarbjit’s story spans over 23 years. Before he disappeared, his life was full of fun and festivity.  While the seriousness has to be there, I am not making a boring film. I want people to cry, laugh and go through all the emotions. Twenty-three years is a long time. I do everything in films larger-than-life so even my way of showing Punjab will be bigger. This song is a full-on Punjabi dhamaal number.”

‘Sarbjit’ is a story is a biopic based on the life of an Indian villager who unknowingly crossed over from Punjab into Pakistani and was later arrested by Pak authorities. It is a story of a sister’s valiant fight for her brothers release from the Pakistani prison.
