Ajay Devgn announces his new film ‘Taanaji – The Unsung Warrior’

Ajay Devgn has films like ‘Baadshaho’ and ‘Golmaal Again’ in his kitty, and now, he has announced his new film which will be a biopic on Taanaji Malusare titled ‘Taanaji The Unsung Warrior’. The actor took to Twitter to inform everyone about it.

Along with the first look posted of the movie, Ajay tweeted, “He fought for his People, his Soil & his King Chhatrapati Shivaji. The unsung warrior of glorious Indian history, Subedar Taanaji Malusare.”

The movie will be directed by Om Raut and will be hitting the screens in 2019. It will be interesting to see Ajay as Taanaji on the big screen. (Also Read: Has Ajay Devgn opted out of ‘Total Dhamaal’?)

While Riteish Deshmukh is making a movie on Chhatrapati Shivaji, Ajay is coming up with a film on the king’s subedar. It looks like it’s time to explore the Maratha history on the celluloid. It will be interesting to see who will be playing the role of Chhatrapati Shivaji in Ajay’s film.
