Akshara Haasan is waiting to go bald for a film

Actress Akshara Haasan, whose last stint in Bollywood with ‘Shamitabh’ left a lasting impact on people’s minds, is soon to be back with her next, ‘Laali Ki Shaadi Mein Laddoo Deewana.’

The actress, who can go to any extent to make her character look genuine is also waiting for an offer to come her way, where she could go bald. In an interview with a leading daily, the actress said, “I’m looking forward to go bald for a film but nothing has been offered to me yet. Akshara also revealed that this won’t be the first time that she would go bald. Recollecting an incident from her childhood she said, “I used to have short hair as a kid. When I casually mentioned to my father (Kamal Haasan) that I wonder what it’s like to be bald, he said, ‘let’s do it now’! He took me to the bathroom and shaved my head. I was seven at the time. It was really cool. We often indulged in such craziness and entertainment.”

Directed by Manish Harishankar, ‘Laali Ki Shaadi Mein Laddoo Deewana’ also features Saurabh Shukla, Ravi Kissan, Vivaan Shah and Gurmeet Choudhary in the lead roles. The film releases on the April 7 this year.
