Akshay, Bhumi, and Anupam Kher kickstart London promotions of ‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha’

Yesterday, the stars of ‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha’, Akshay Kumar, Bhumi Pednekar and Anupam Kher kickstarted the London promotions. And as they set off on their London journey, Akshay did a Facebook live with Bhumi and Anupam Kher accompanying him in a taxi. Bhumi started off by speaking about how their movie promotes a social message of not defecating in the open. Further, Anupam Kher added that since Akshay Kumar took up this movie, the cause will reach a large chunk of the audience.

Akshay said that a woman should not marry a man who doesn’t have a toilet in the house. He further added, “In this film, the USP is the love story. It is important. I love the fact that in real too, the woman when she gets to know about the toilet, the story changes. A man can defecate in open easily, although it’s very wrong to do so. But for a woman, it is a private time. He also pulled Bhumi’s legs by saying that she doesn’t let anyone else speak and is very talkative. “I did an interview with her. She doesn’t let anyone talk at all,” joked Akshay.

The movie is directed by Shree Narayan Singh, produced by KriArj Entertainment and will be releasing on August 11, 2017. The trio also had a fun dinner night with actor Sidharth Malhotra.
