Akshay Kumar apologises for his Bodyguard’s behaviour

It was only yesterday that a video of Akshay Kumar‘s bodyguard punching one of his fans, while he was trying to take a selfie, became viral. The bodyguard punched the fan very hard on his cheek which indeed was a big blow to him.

Even though, Akshay was walking just ahead of him, this unfortunate incident went unnoticed for the star. But after seeing the video online, Akshay made it a point to apologise the fan by taking to his Twitter account. He wrote, “What happened that day was unfortunate and uncalled for. I was at the airport and I heard a commotion which made me turn around, I didn’t notice anything wrong so I walked on. It was later brought to my notice that my bodyguard had punched a fan. I have reprimanded him and given him a strict warning for the same. My sincere apology to the fan who was hurt. I hold my fans in the highest regard and such incidents are always upsetting. I will ensure such a scenario is avoided in the future.”

That is indeed sweet of the actor to notice the incident and feel sorry for it.
