Akshay Kumar to be a Naval Officer in his next?

Akshay Kumar is right now on his toes promoting his upcoming film ‘Airlift.’ This movie is based on a true story on the incident which took place during Iraq-Kuwait war in 1990’s. It is set to depict the largest human evacuation which was carried out by the Indian Government to save the Indians stranded in the war zone. It is slated to release on January 22, 2016.

Well, such kind of movies which evoke the sense of patriotism amongst the masses has always been Akshay Kumar’s favorite. There are a numerous number of films marked in the name of Akshay wherein he has played the role of a patriotic cop. In his recent films like ‘Baby’ and ‘Holiday,’ Akshay had donned the hat of an officer of an intelligence team and that of a soldier respectively. ‘Airlift’ is his next film where he would turn a saviour for the people of his country. We have recently learnt that even in his next film Akshay would be playing the role of a naval cop. The film titled ‘Rustom’ helmed by Neeraj Pandey is in the making and if the buzz is something to go by then Akki would play a character of a Naval officer and the story would be based on the true incidents revolving around this Naval officer. Even though ‘Rustom’ is considered to be a romantic thriller with two leading ladies playing the pivotal roles in the film, the movie would have some elements where Akki would get a chance to show off his love for country.

Well, Akki and his fascination to the play the cop in the film, we tell you. There’s no going to an end to this. As now we are excited for Akshay’s ‘Airlift.’ Nimrat Kaur would be playing the leading lady in this film opposite Akshay. With an extremely interesting storyline, the hype around the film is too much. we just hope that he lives up to our expectations.
