Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha’s next seems to be running on some kind of jinx. The film which is the sequel to Akki’s super hit film ‘Namaste London’ has been put on hold. Reason being financial shortfall. Reports are doing the rounds that the film does not have an extremely strong financial backing as it requires and hence, the makers have put it on hold.
According to the source of a leading daily, “It’s a brilliant script but the story demands a lot of prep and the film has to be lavishly mounted. Since this takes time, Vipul has decided to put the film on hold while he arranges the finances.” Well, this is not the first time that this film named ‘Namaste England’ has made it to the headlines. Earlier, the film made it to the news because of the delay in the film’s shoot. The shooting was supposed to go on floor in the month of April, but it got postponed to the month of August for unknown reasons.
