Akshay Kumar speaks about his film with Salman Khan and Karan Johar

The New Year 2017 indeed started on a surprising note with a big announcement of actor Akshay Kumar teaming up with superstar Salman Khan and filmmaker Karan Johar for a film produced by both of them. Following a huge anticipation, the ‘Khiladi’ star chose to speak about this newly announced film.

At an event on Tuesday, Akshay was asked about this project, to which he replied saying, “I am very excited to be a part of the film, and (I am) hoping that a very good film is going to be made.”

Further, the actor even hoped that with this project the trend of A-listers coming together for a project grows in Bollywood.

Akshay said, “It’s something new for this industry, it happens in Hollywood where an A-list actor signs another A-list actor for his production. It’s something new for us. I hope it becomes a trend in the industry.”

But the ‘Special 26’ actor even chose to stay mum at a point as he did not share any further details about the movie saying that, “I can’t say anything as my contract will get cancelled.”

This untitled film is directed by Anurag Singh and is slated to release in 2018.
