Akshay Kumar turns savior for many people, depicts the new poster of ‘Airlift’

Akshay Kumar is all set to hit the silver screen with his upcoming film ‘Airlift.’ The film is a true story set against the backdrop of Iraq-Kuwait war and the biggest evacuation of Indians in Kuwait in the year 1990. The expectations of the movie are really sky high after gaining a great positive response from the trailer and songs.

Akshay Kumar who will be seen working in a patriotic theme movie after ‘Holiday’ and ‘Baby’ is busy in the promotions for this action thriller. He is playing the role of Ranjit Katyal who is one the most successful man in Kuwait until this tragedy strikes him and the people around. The character of Ranjit is the one who is looked upon by many for helping them out in that situation. This shows in the new poster of the movie as well.

Akshay Kumar took to his Instagram account for sharing this new poster of the film. 

He posted:

Looking at this new poster, it can be certainly said that the countdown has begun for all the fans to book their seats for this movie which is releasing this Friday.

‘Airlift’ stars Nimrat Kaur playing the female lead. It also stars Purab Kohli in a pivotal role. This Raja Krishna Menon directorial is slated to release on January 22, 2016.
