Well, we can clearly see that the actor is damn happy to get the honour, and we loved the way he said ‘der aaye durust aaye’.
Akshay is currently shooting for ‘PadMan’ with Sonam Kapoor who has also won Special Mention at National Film Awards for her performance in ‘Neerja’. He said that it’s a double celebration for them on the sets. (Also Read: EXCLUSIVE! Ileana D’Cruz on Akshay Kumar’s National Award: Couldn’t be prouder)
Apart from ‘PadMan’, Akki has films like ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’, ‘Gold’, ‘Moghul’ and a film with Salman Khan and Karan Johar in his kitty.
‘Eat Sleep Bollywood Repeat’ is his life Mantra. Dance is his first love and Rani Mukerji is his eternal crush. He is someone who loves being himself, and as for the ones who don’t agree, his reply? “Talk to my hand!”
