Akshay Kumar’s ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ postponed, to clash with Shah Rukh Khan’s next

Looks like it is destined for Akshay Kumar and Shah Rukh Khan to clash at the box office. Earlier, Akki-starrer ‘Crack’ was supposed to release during the Independence Day weekend, and was going to clash with Imtiaz Ali’s next starring Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma. However, with time, ‘Crack’ was put on a backburner, and Akshay started shooting for his other films.

Akshay will next be seen in a film titled ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ which was slated to release in June this year. However, the makers have postponed the film to August 11 which is also the release date of SRK and Anushka-starrer.

Akshay and SRK were supposed to clash at the box office in 2013 when their respective films ‘Once Upon Ay Time In Mumbai Dobaara!’ and ‘Chennai Express’ were slated to release on the same day. Now let’s wait and watch will it be Akshay v/s SRK at the box office, or once again the clash will be averted.
